Power Corrupts

I felt like this was a history book, with the names, place and circumstances changed.

I think most rebellions start out on improving life for all, and then power goes to a few leaders heads and they become worse than those they despised.

What happened to Snowball? Couldn't have helped lead the other animals from exile?

Sadie wants to choose the next book.

Yeah, but Sadie doesn't know what she would choose.

I want to choose the next book, after all, I'm the head pig. (uh, let me rethink that)

Everybody calm down. The thirst for absolute power you are all displaying is quite disturbing considering the book we just read. For the next book, I will accept nominations for everyone, and then we can vote on it. Sheesh people.

I say that the person who picks the book needs to be willing to post a picture of the book on the blog, come up with a reading schedule, and do some research about the author just like Shyla does. Now who wants to pick the book?!

Can we read something a little happier. I'm tired of thinking. Hey, I have an idea. Let's have Eddie give us a list of the books he thinks are stupid and pick one from them!!

Shyla! Shyla! I pick Shyla to be the book sheriff. And I thought initially Karen Anne contributed in some way.

I did contribute, I said Sadie wants to pick the next book.

I want a happy book too, one that inspires me, one that doesn't force me to search my soul for my and mans imperfections.

I think the Eddie's list of book ideas, just might work...

Eddie "hates Jonathon Livingston Seagull". (Actually he loves this book). If you haven't read it, it is VERY short, and may be worth reading. I to liked it after Eddie interpreted it for me. I think you all would have loads to say about it and it would only be a one week thing.

I am looking for a volunteer to head up the next book selection.
